"One of Moore's greatest strengths... is his knowledge of Southeast Asian history." Newsweek

Christopher G. Moore

A Canadian author living in Thailand for 16 years, he is regarded as the best Western author writing novels set in Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries. His books have been widely reviewed from Newsweek, Maclean's, the Globe and Mail, The Vancouver Sun, Asia Times, and the Japan Times.

Since 1985, Moore has developed a body of work that includes 17 novels and one non-fiction book ("Heart Talk").

His body of works is a modern day chronicle of the region. Each novel is packed with details about the expat community and the unforgettable cast of characters who are unwilling, unable or uninterested to go home.

His characters include foreign correspondents covering border fights, coups, revolutions, diplomats, business executives, English language teachers, and those living on the margins of Bangkok's night life--the hardcore, the dreamers, adventurers, drunks and con artists who travel the Patpong, Nana Plaza, Soi Cowboy and Thermae circuit.

Moore's novels range beyond Thailand with settings in Burma, Cambodia, Japan and Vietnam. His novels have been translated into Chinese, German, Japanese and Thai.
